You won't do any damage Josh so don't panic! Cheapest option is a phono pre -amp and there are some available if you do an internet search. They range from £20 or so to prices that would require a second mortgage. I suggest £40 would buy you an adequate device including a din - rca converter which you will probably need.

Assuming you are talking about connecting to the phono input of an itegrated pre amp/amp combination then you should have no problem. The output from B&O cartridges is marginally lower than other moving magnet devices but should only require 1 click extra on the volume control.

This is what the configuration guide says: ************************* VIDEO SYSTEM SETUP ************************** BeoVision 4 BeoLab 1 Connection Video Connect the aerial to the aerial input of the TV-set. Connect the Beolab to the POWER LINK socket (FRONT) on the BeoVision using a Power Link cable. Both Power Link sockets contain left and right channel

I am sure I've answered this question twice already this afternoon.

You need a din to stereo minijack cable and plug into the AUX port on the B&O

Your best bet is to look out for a cosmetically challenged 8000 on ebay. They do come up for sale quite often and usually don't make very much money.

I am sure that Matt or Lee at Lifestyle will be able to supply a duplicate diagram. Suggest you give them a ring.

You will need a DIN to stereo minijack cable which you should use to connect your I-Pod to the AUX port on the B&O. The cables are widely available on Ebay or from Amazon

I am afraid that this is a common problem and usually requires a new DVD mech at around £200-250 in the UK. You could try cleaning the laser lens which may get you out of trouble in the short term. This has worked for me with about 30% chance of success!
