  • Re: DVD2 vs HDR2

Peter: I have Sky+ as well as VCRs and a DVD/HDD recorder. I use Sky+ as it integrates perfectly with my B&O and is completely idiot proof! You say that, but I'm sure Rupert Murdoch can use his own products.

The BeoCenter 6-26 comes without any sources by default, you then choose either radio or a DVB module to add on. I can't see them releasing a new speaker either to be honest, unless they discontinue something else. There are already more different speakers in the range than there have ever been (bar the 70s, but a lot of those speakers were very very

  • Re: beosound 4 vs. beocentre 2

tom: it is hard to compare these two systems, as they play in two different leagues, the BC2 being superior to BS4 considering materials and built quality. But each of them has advantages: the BS4 has the SD-Card reader which is of great use if you own a BS3 or BS2 already. The BC2 also is a DVD player and the main issue is that it has a digital out

I'd go with the BeoSound 4 personally. Very very good player, and beautifully built/designed. Very nice to use as well. This is one of my favourite things B&O have made. Of course the only issue to bear in mind is that if you later decide to connect it to BeoLab 5s, as Peter says, you won't have the ability to connect digitally.

  • Re: Beosystem 7000 to Beovision 7 option?

I believe Peter has a setup vaguely similar to that of what you're planning, and he has mentioned limited two-way capability when using the system. Maybe he can shed some light on it!

What will you be using it for? What will it be connected to? We need more information about how you're planning on using it. Do you want to play DVDs on it?

  • Re: Connecting iPod to BeoVision 7?

That's possible, although I can't see how it could easily be for the worse. I've connected through the Camcord input on a few occasions, and I've never noticed any major differences in sound.

  • Re: multi-regioning a TV

The UK BeoVisions are the most compatible and 'multi-format' out of all the sets from different countries. All you will need to do then is to multi-format the DVD player.
