soundproof: I think it's perfect if you travel a lot - light, slim and powerful I don't understand the "No Frontrow" above, that's included in Leopard??? Not sure about that! It has a 4200rpm parallel drive. That's slow. It's the same drive in your iPod Classic. Indeed, the drive can be the achilles heel of any laptop.

Puncher: As always you pays your money and you makes your choice - is this the one - or not! - always a personal opinion. I think that's a little wide-reaching. To be fair, most of us have the money to justify a MB Air, but for me it's just not quite right. A bit expensive for what you get in return (compared to, say, the MBP or MacBook) but

Since a couple of years ago, I only buy from the refurbished store, for two reasons: 1) you often receive a better spec'ed computer than you ordered and 2) they receive far more testing than the new machines. Therefore, I have not a single problem with any of my (many!) Mac's. Before this, I did have problems. Most products from the refurbished

rsmyth: I got the newsletter email from B&O today and it had an article on white equipment. Also saw a white BV8 in my dealer today, it was quite nice although they had it on a black video stand until a silver floor stand came in. Oh, I didn't receive this. A BV8-32 in white might be good as a second TV in the future. Like the white BeoCom 2

Hi Simon, When did you find this info - ie. BeoCom 6000 in white? I wouldn't mind a BV8 in white, as long as I could connect some BL3's in white, too. Snag is, they might look a bit daft on their silver stands.

avus17: Any news about this product? A quick 'beosound 5' search is what I'd recommend. Either that, or simply look on page 2 of this forum..

You're probably right (see my other posts on the BV7), although a 2007 model BV7-32 MKII might be worth considering? You could pick one up for around £4500, has a far brighter panel than the MKI, would show SD without issues and HD would look fantastic. Of course, this £4500 would ship with the motorised stand and the 7.1, which is worth

ed7: my avant blew too after six years snap ,got bv 7-32 (heart ruled my head)sold it big mistake to buy in the first place There seem to be more people who've admitted that they've given back or sold their BV7 than kept it, in the last few weeks. What do you own now?

Dude1: Personally, I am unaware of the policy in the UK. In the UK, it depends on the dealer. They can choose whether they'll accept something or not and how much they'll offer. However, if you're wanting to purchase a substantial amount of kit, the trade-in deal might be better than you'd get selling personally. Better still, in the

soundproof: You might even want to add that B&W use B&O ICEpower in the PV1! Out of interest, how would you connect a PV1 to a BS4 + BL3 setup?
