Post a picture of the front and the back of one of your speakers - that will sort out any confusion.

If your 4500 is two way, look for a Beolink 7000 - far, far better.

Are you sure you have Beolab speakers and not just the Beovox panels? The actual panels are identical except for the amplifier which in the Beolab bolts on the bottom and has wires running externally between the amplifier and speaker. For Beolab speakers, Powerlink Mk 2 are, as stated above, necessary.

Thought I had! You need a two RCA plug to mini-jack cable. The 2 RCA plugs plug into the Tape 2 out of the Beomaster 5500 and the mini-jack goes into the audio in of your soundcard. Play your record on the Beogram 5500 and select Phono. The tape 2 output will output line level to the sound card. Using the software suggested above, you can record a WAV

I can't advise on the software as I use a Mac and have Toast and CD Doctor on this but the connection will be via the tape 2 sockets to the sound card - a twin RCA to mini stereo jack is what you need. The maximun length of Audio Aux cable recommended (which uses the same strength of signal) is 100 foot.

I take it that the picture is a photo shopped Fujitsu? The stand is not a B&O design. The proportions are not quite correct either I believe.

I would favour Manchester if only to see the King Street boys again. They are always helpful and I will buy my new equipment from them - when I need any! Had a great night out at the jazz club last time. Would favour a week end from a travelling and work point of view.
