Has anyone come across this before? I have a MCP 5500 which works but the displays flash continuously It wasn't doing this a few days back but has now decided to develope this strange fault. I haven't looked too deeply into the problem yet and I'm hoping it is a programming solution or something similarly simple. This isn't mentioned

Agree with Graham, it isn't worth trying to buy 2nd hand used B&O ones as they haven't been made for donkeys years and most of them are likely to fail shortly due to aging suspension. Go to the sound smith website and order the SMMC4 which is far superior to the original B&O MMC4 IMO. You may have to wait up to a month for delivery as

burantek: ran into this very situation a few minutes ago... any suggestions for the external amp? i will be connecting a bc9300 to a bg5500. i have looked at a few on ebay... all seem to have rca jacks, are there any out there with dins? if not i may use a tx2 turntable w/ the rca leads and ground wire to the amp and then a din to rca lead from the

Hi h1llhouz and welcome to Beoworld, I think you need to persist with your B&O dealer to verify the phone number they gave you. In the UK many dealers farm out work to local (reputable) electronics service specialists who also service other brands. I suspect the same applies in your country.
