Well it is finally complete! The lid has arrived and the Beogram is now seen in all its glory. Many thanks to Frede for all the work he has done on this for me and also to Axel who made the cartridge at very short notice after another supplier was unable to manage. Well something has gone pop in the L power amplifier. You will need to track the signal.I would look for a burnt component or a crack in the solder. Check that both the metal loops are both there connecting the pre and power amplifiers though!

I take it that you want the sound from the 9500 to be controlled by the Avant so that the sound comes from the speakers attached to the Avant. You need the Avant in V.Option 2 and the 9500 in A.Option 0. Leave L.Opt alone - this is for the link rooms.

As standard they come with a two pin plug so the polarity is not a problem - having said that, they usually have a blue and beown wire so I would attach the brown to live and blue to neutral anyway!

To be fair, I can't remember, but I have a B&O set and the DVD appeared automatically. Have you thought about getting Keith to program your Beo5 - he can probably get it to work the Philips set as well.

What TV are you using? What happens when you press DVD on the remote? I have a BC2 and Beo5 and mine works with no problem using the standard DVD button. Do you have the software?

Small typo is the cause of the problem! You do say 9 pin in your post above!
