I forgot to mention earlier... I would contact you're B&O dealer. They are especially informative on new/current product lines. They also have the connection to the miriad of adapters made in Europe.

In situations such as this, I usually attack them with a plethora of RCA adapters and 1/8" conversions from radioshack. Usually works out pretty well.

First off, welcome. I have the reverse of you're situation, I have a BeoSystem4500 which now runs JBL floorstanders. I run the B&O signal through a Yamaha Natural Sound R-7, which then makes the connection possible. For you, however, things should be much easier. As familiar as I am with B&O speakers (not with the BL8000 unfornutely), they

beotex: It would be nice to have a secondhand store, or have the offical shops with a preowned section. I have seen many shops in Europe that take trade-ins and sell the used equipment. Well I got my hopes up for nothing. My 4500 components are currently not in they're peak cosmetic condition due to an unappreciative previous owner, so I'm trying my best to restore them.
-
Yes, perfectly. Just the BM4500 and the BGCD4500 for $5000(US). Insanity?
-
Yes, it is becoming quite apparent. Okay, here's an update: I have managed to get the bottom row of controls 100% functional. However, the green buttons that control the radio tuning next to the display still do not work, this is very troubling as they work without flaw when the glass is not in the way.

Well that is very different from what I saw in my dealer. There were the same two components which were for sale for USD-5000.
