For other kinds of cable, the only difference I can hear worth noting is the changes in the sound and drop of interference when good shielding is used. The Wave system is good for background music, but I would never dream of listening to an album on it properly. Give Dark Side Of The Moon a spin, and you'll see why. Left hand handles midrange + upper bass, right hand handles midrange + treble, so the left hand channel won't even reproduce proper high frequency. Stay away from the Bose is my suggestion
