Peter: Soundsmith SMMC4 is a very useful cartridge! Not as good as a MMC2 but pretty close! And a lot cheaper! I agree! Far better than the original B&O MMC4 and certainly as good as the MMC3 at a fraction of the cost - and with warranty. You cannot really go wrong and worth every penny. Chris.

Jumbo: Do you know the the definition of a Yorkshire man? He's a Scotsman with the generousity squeezed out of him. I can get away with that one Chris as i'm from leeds also. Jumbo Legend has it that copper wire was invented by 2 Yorkshiremen fighting over a penny

joeyboygolf: Your answers to the original post are all very much missing the point. The question asked about RL140's driven by a strong, very clean amp. The 5500 certainly doesn't qualify in this respect being fairly modest 55w output. A boys amplifier really! I was really answering John question regarding how they compared being driven by the

She wasn't over keen on the look of the Penta's

Puncher: Jumbo: Who lives in Antarctica? Penguins mostly On the old forum we had a member called "Penguinni" - a looooonnnggg time ago though. Are you still with us under a different name? Me - "Yorkshire born & Yorkshire bred, strong in the arm but weak in the head" as the rhyme goes. Chris

Hi shuni, the connections are very simple. There are Left & Right cable inputs (from your amp) & left & Right outputs to your speakers. All connections are screw clamp onto bare wire. Chris.

Hi CTunafish & welcome to beoworld No - the terminals 3000 & 5000 work on different frequencies and are therefore unable to control anything other than their dedicated systems. Terminal 5000's & MCP5000's do appear on ebay regularly though. Chris.
