Peter, When you say you now have a grey line at the top of the screen, the following questions come to mind:- Prior to the move of the TV did this grey line exist ? When you say "Grey line" are you talking about a line like a raster line or is it wider ? Is this line at an angle say 10 degrees ? Depending on your answers it is likely that

Before you get to upset about your faulty Beocom 6000 phone, can we first determine what the problem is ? Most Beocom hardware faults can be quickly resolved without costly assessment fees. You say it stopped working 6 months ago, what exact stopped working ? is there a display ? and which version do you have ? Mark I has a black DOT at the 9 o'clock

It sounds to me that you may have a Plasma TV near your LC2 or something similar If you do have a Plasma monitor it will produce light and electrial noise which will cause no or poor remote control. It is the light noise (370 kHz ) as well as the electrical noise from the plasma monitor. The noise level is approximately 20 dB stronger than the IR codes

To prove the point, I suggest you bypass the amplifier to one link room by connecting the RF input (RF output of AVANT) from the Beovision Master to the cable for one of the link TV's and if you get

If you have a Beovision in a link room you can use it effectively as a Beolink Active as you would if it were hardwired. Generally, I would only suggest using a Beolink Wireless 1 in situations where there is no way of using a cable because of cost and potential interference issues particularly when a microwave oven is used near one of the units.

Whilst the STB controller (PUC) has the Nokia Dbox 2, the Beo5 Configuration Tool does not. You have two options available to you:- You can create your own template if you are familiar wilh XML format for the Nokia Box, the best way is to take an existing file that is near the Nokia Dbox 2 and modify it and save it as the Nokia Dbox 2. The nearest one
