steve77: Am currently away on holiday & have just checked my emails. Can't quite believe I've won something let alone an Overture! We seem to have started a bit of a trend t'other month whereby people's first ever post is to acknowledge winning a prize in the draw. Seems a bit excessive to me, giving prizes away just so people post

Hearty congrats. to all winners If only I'd won as many times as I've been abused in "prize night" threads, I could have a museum too!

I do hope there's no thrashed and furry Mondeo's in tonights prize list

It makes me laugh - if B&O had done this, folk would be salivating! btw - the separate box thing was seen to be a good idea with the BV4. I don't want to pick fault with companies that have a never ending stream of new product and are trying to move things forward by continuing to try new/different things. In fact I'm more likely to worry

wonderfulelectric: I think you will need a separate box to house the power supply and connections which really makes it kinda the same. However, you do get a slim profile. Not quite - I understand the data transfer from the box to the panel is wireless!

wonderfulelectric: Thing is that the Beolab 9 and 5s have too much bass for my room. My original plan was to get the Beolab 9s for my bedroom but it has got way too much bass. The Beolab 3s aren't that great for real listening. So I ended up with buying another brand's ugly hifi instead. I'm confused now - the Lab9's have too much bass

My tuppenceworth - using "better quality" drivers may not result in any better audible performance. The BL3 performance is remarkable given some pretty basic limitations of physics, regarding driver and cabinet size. It's ability to "stun" folk who think they know better is testament to that. If you need more there's the

Personally I think he faked the whole thing in Beoworld's back yard with a spot of Photoshop to polish it up. Even so, it's been highly entertaining , thanks for keeping us up to date with Team Wombles exploits - I looked forward to each installment. Well done! If you are going to do it next year maybe we could have a thread nearer the time
-
I hope that's not it - most folk died in Tolstoy's novels but he still managed to tie all the loose ends together and finish them! Even jandyt's thread end on an upbeat (could be months later of course)! Edit : sorry I now realise you are still in mid-type, I shall reserve my wrath until the end of the tale

Graham1982: Ah excellent, well I have a TV card in my computer, just not in the server so I guess I can transfer it using the method you described and then just transfer the files to the server via wifi or whatever. Thanks Puncher Sounds like a plan - you may consider some software to compress the mpeg file that results, there's plenty available
