I voted 8000's as front & 6000's as rears. Both beautiful speakers but the 8000's are still the best looking speakers ever designed IMO. The 6000's have proven to be too easy to copy due to their simplistic & elegant design whereas the 8000's are unmistakable in any setting. Sound wise they are both very much ahead of anything

Yep - probably the volume wheel, I've seen this many times myself as has Martin. There is a microswitch underneath which may simply need the contacts cleaning with some very fine abrasive paper. It may need replacing though and they are quite hard to find - unless you say pretty please with sugar & sprinkles in which case I will pop one in the

Graham - at the top left hand side of the OP is a line of 5 stars for rating - I think you'll be able to figure out the rest. An old fart like me managed Chris.

I like it! Don't be fooled into thinking all ceramics are fragile - in fact they are amongst the strongest and most durable of all man made products. Think of false teeth or the skirts that Lotus designed for their F1 Grand Prix cars in the 1980's (before they were banned) Chris.

He can be found at beocentral I believe. Chris.

Very nice Alex - not sure about the excercise ball though - that'd certainly spell a week in hospital for me if I sat on the thing Just seen your photo on the Beoworld news item and that horrible American imported word "dude" has been lodged in my forebrain ever since Enjoy the BL 4's mate - you deserve them Chris.
