Through the AUX-socket, one can use a seven-pin DIN-cable and remote-control some functions with the MCP5000. I have used my Beomaster 5500 with both an LX2802-N and an MX3500.

My Beovirus just keeps on getting worse, too! I stumbled over a pair of RL6000's with original reciepts dating from 1996 for very cheap. Good foam sorrounds (hell, this is the newest B&O i ever have owned, all of it dating to years before my birth in 1993) and fine sound, just to hang on the walls of my bedroom. Hello Rob, Congratulations with your new Beocenter. I would suggest you to get the amplifier of the unit fixed for best performance and better user value. You can use the phones output, I use it myself for interconnecting Beomasters and it actually sounds fine. A more technical solution is to use an RCA cable and take the output from the preamplifier
