This is required for the facility to record 2 channels at once. Don't worry if you live in an apartment and have a shared dish with 1 LNB cable - you can still use Sky+ HD but you won't be able to record 2 channels at once or watch one channel whilst recording another. If you only have one feed, it is possible to connect a "T-Piece"

Sorry to suggest the obvious, have you tried switching off the handset and powering off the base? It sounds cliched but it sometimes works and enables the handset to re-connect with the base. Opman

Which version of BeoVision7 do you have? That will determine which sockets are available and what your options are in the set uo menu. I think that you have to select PR,Pb,Y in the connections menu where you have assigned AV4 as the input. Opman
Or should I just give up and get a new handset for the old base?
I'm fairly certain that it is note possible to buy another single handset and register to your existing base. The BeoCom4 is supplied as a matched pair of base & handset. I would take the handset and base to your local dealer and get an estimate
I'm also trying to remember how to get the teletext with DVB-HD. The red button works on the smaller 8, but not on the big one, it just switches to radio.
On the DVB HD module the "text" and "interactive red button" don't yet work. A software update is on the way very soon. Opman

A note to all BeoVision3 owners, this is only possible on the 32" version as it is the same chassis as an Avant. The 28" BeoVision3 can only use one STBc emitter as it uses a different chassis even though it just looks like a smaller set. Opman

A new version of BeoPlayer is due to be released week commencing 19.10.09. It will cope with 64-bit system and Windows7. Opman

Are the switches on the back of the BeoLab4000's set to left and right? If they are set to line, they won't detect the switch on signal via the Powerlink cable. Opman

When you configured the Beo5, it may have automatically set the products to opt 2 for the TV and opt 0 for the audio. If you unplug the ML cable and then can't switch on the Bsnd4 that would confirm this to be the case. Go back to your configuration on the Beo5. If you hoover over the products in the "choose products" tab one at a time

Have you tried unplugging the Masterlink cable from your BeoSystem3? That should show if the problem is related to the link system in anyway. If the BeoLab5's don't work just off the BeoSystem3 it may be a coincidence that they stopped working when the link was added. Opman
