haha, thanks luke. I live in Paris, so noise and is an everyday thing, but sure, I know my limits I guess :)

Thanks for your comments beobeo :) I guess it would be nice to hear from others too why they went for the BL9 as opposed to the BL5's in the end... Initially I didnt like the design of the BL9, but being small and simple, gets kinda catchy

Hi, With the increasing prices by B&O in 2 weeks, I have to make a decision on what to do next. I can afford to buy a new BL9 pair, however it would be possible, but a real struggle to get the BL5. My appartment is small and I'm always moving houses for my job, but my question is this: Is it worth getting the BL9 now? Or waiting until I have

Sorry but everytime I read AVANT VCR and DVD2, I get scared that the person that bought them didn't realise that you can't record to the HDD.. some issue about the Avant routing the RECORD command to the VCR as opposed to the DVD2. In answer of your question... sorry, no idea
A DVD1 could do, but I sort of like the idea of not having anything extra in the bedroom. As I use my screen for my computer, it looks like I'll have to save up for a BC6 then?
Sure, if you need to use the same TV to work with then definately an LCD. However, not having anything extra in the bedroom...

I agree with Dave but fail to see how its "appropriate for computer use". He is right if you want to watch a movie, but typing a word document would be su-eye-cide I just got a BV1 (not beocentre) and I am more than happy with it. We got a similar setup, BV7-40 and although I am still waiting for an RF amp link that is needed to watch DVD's

doh :( there goes the masterplan :'( Why are things never simple!

Hi, Finally, after all the help of the beoworlders here, I convinced myself to get a BV1 and love it! BeoLinking is so much fun! haha. The BV1 is currently only connected via masterlink (not antenna yet since i am waiting for the RF amp link to arrive). It is masterlinked to an ouverture and bv7-40. A.AUX from my mac is shared, cd, radio everything

(Hmmm - heard of one customer where I live who bought six BL5s, because he wanted more bass at home after trying two. At the time I thought he had to be a bass addict, now I think he wasn't made aware of the correct setup.)
Nice and cozy area
