This is always the dilemma. Do you decide to grab the cash and give people wireless nonsense and goof-ball apps or do you try and use your expertise in the industry and try and act as an initial filter to bring your clients a more refined experience?

A lot later than I'd like. The only estimate I've heard is fall, but a few other things have been pushed back a month or two already so I don't know if that date can be relied on.

Quite apart from the technical issues with accomplishing this, it wouldn't sound great. The speakers already built in produce all the bass that would sound proportional to the music. Higher end systems are built with a different ear in mind, i.e. one that is looking for clarity and neutrality in the reproduction, not someone who wants their dorm

Nope. The DAC is in the BeoSound 5 Encore.

The solution is to repurpose the Avant in another room. Otherwise there are some good deals on audio masters.

As B&O's ability to interface with lighting, shades, HVAC, and other home systems, don't you think it would be nice to know whether the lights are on in your dungeon or the temperature of your bottomless pit?
