Hi all, I am upgrading to a pair of mk2's so here for sale is my loved penta's! They are in excellent condition, they are not mint as the steel is dented in places. last year I spent £150 at B&O Nottingham having one repaired( was getting hot)! They sound wonderful and as you will see the midranges are in perfect condition, I also

I turned mine off also as I dislike the way the picture is!

Hi, There has been a similar thread recently about the same topic. I have just been through the same issue myself, I went for a beolab 7-4 only because it was a good price! The 7-4 is a dedicated centre speaker so is perfect for the job, but I reckon that a pair of 4000's would be good also! I think its al about what comes up at the right price

The more I look at my pentas the more I think that they should stay as they are! I think the frets will look good but keep the steel I say!

I may get shot for this, but has anyone ever seen pentas painted??
No but THIS thread shows Pentas with white frets and because these cover a vast area of the speaker it might give an indication what they could look like.
I think it might look smart painted white?
