The Beolab9s do look very modern and will double up as sculptures. So I say you should go for it. They are one of the most unique looking ones in their price range. You have to pay a lot more to get such a unique design in the high end loudspeaker industry.

Yeah. I sort of read that from somewhere else before. But it is kinda sick that the industry still stick to manufacturing environmental less friendly products when the friendlier version is available. I think OLED screens for tv viewing will still be made into panels though because you will get better contrast and brightness that way.

355f: Puncher: It makes me laugh - if B&O had done this, folk would be salivating! btw - the separate box thing was seen to be a good idea with the BV4. I don't want to pick fault with companies that have a never ending stream of new product and are trying to move things forward by continuing to try new/different things. In fact I'm more

You should take a look at frequency response curve of a loudspeaker with a sealed bass alignment and one that is ported or has a passive radiator. The Beolab5s will not only be aurally dominating but physically too in a smaller room. All I was trying to say was there's not enough

Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn.... I just bought a 46inch Sony Lcd tv for my room, I should have taken a look at the price of the BV 8. Now the 46 incher is kinda too big for my room. Oh regrets! Btw sound quality aside, how does the picture quality compare between the two? You are one lucky man Sal!

BTW. I did realize that the Beosound 2 isn't compatible with large memory cards. Hope this helps.
