I've used to have Beosystem 2000 '80s version and it was great. I would sugest the Beogram 2000. Its a simpel no frills but good sounding and matches the Beomaster. A Soundsmith MMC4 is also my vote. You do not need anything as the Beomaster 3000 does not work at all with Beolink! Otherwise you should had used the AUX on the Beomaster straight to the LX6000 with a 7 pin DIN cable with no converter. The converter is used when the Beovision is newer than 1994 and has ML while Beosystem/Beocenter has MCL. The converter is always 1611 in that case.
