wtlc2zpx: In most cases, the TV will have transmitted all the channels to the recorder, so there is no need to tune. You may have a fine tune menu, but it is usually not useful. p. True- although I'm not sure from the original post if the V8000 is a new addition or if it has faulted and was previoulsy OK. Two points - a bit simplistic, but its often

joeyboygolf: It's interesting to note that TBS knew how to operate the product and could talk about it's capabilities. I am sure that the MD of my previous employers would not have been able to do that without someone technical holding his hand. Thats a very good point, and having dealt in the past with the likes of Sony/Sharp/Panasonic/Philips

jandyt: Seriuosly though, I am proud to be a founder member of a great site that is now, obviously, respected by Bang and Olufsen. Long may it last! Andy T. Well said Andy - I think Lee deserves a big Well Done. And I agree about your comments about it being nice to be a founder member. King Street was, I think, the first ( only ? ) UK retail shop to

moxxey: There is definitely no dress code in the UK stores .....although the sales people always wear suits. ... ! Not strictly true. Not a suit in site at King Street. In fact, since our shop had a refit and re-opened in April, it has been a matter of some debate. I personally have never liked any type of retail outlet (car, Hi-Fi, clothing, high street

jazz: So lets say you manage to "hack" your Beo5's. Then what happens when you make a big mess of it all. Your poor dealers are going to be stuck cleaning up the mess. I'll be letting my dealer do all the work on my Beo5 (when i get one)... jazz. Good idea - maybe i would say that though Having had a few weeks to get used to the product

Andy - good point, well made. Aside from a home visit, my suggestion to anyone with a BEo5 on order is to do the following "prep" : 1.Make a comprehensive list of B&O Kit 2. List the locations. 3. Decide which logo's you would like etc etc. 4. Think about any operational quirls you use - such as andy and his option 1 scenario. 5. Email

jandyt: Hi Ed Welcome back, I hope you had a nice holiday. I have a specific date for my Beo5 and I can assure you it will involve a photo' type thread on here! Let the race begin...... Andy T. Assuming our Danish overlords stick to the plan, then it will be a close run thing - Peter and Andyt may well be in receipt of a Beo5 on the same day, which

Simon, If it fits the bill in all other respects, then you could always use a modulator ( c£25 ) Regards David

Would anyone like a BeoVision 8902 - a large CTV from a bygone era, maybe a collectors item It has been in the careful charge of one person since new ( 18 years ago, I think ) and has a fully functioning remote , if a bit "used. Old owner is now the proud owner a BeoVision 8 - and expecting 18 years from that too.... The tube has lost some of its
