I saw a response in the main board. I know the US version pretty well, but not the EU requirement. That being said, there are no SCART connections on US model, it is built for 110 volts, and warranty issues would be difficult to manage in Europe. Cannot imagine that being a good solution, even if the Euro discount is good.

It will work, though I would really recommend the BeoSound 1 with an auxiliary cord to play your iPod. MUCH more flexible and easy to use.

Since you are buying at a distance, don't forget mounts and proper connectors. BL3s will buzz if you don't use special RCA to DIN cable.

Just to clarify the question referring to the US VERSION of BV8.. they assure me that the ability to turn off the TV's speakers by using "Sound 2" doesn't exist on the BV8. They are adamant about this. They even say that they tested it at their US headquarters in Chicago and the BV8 can't turn off the center channel via "Sound

I am confused; I thought the PUC DOES handle Apple TV, which would make the OneRemote chip redundant. Not true?

I really appreciate the help you guys give me on these Mac systems, and thanks again, in advance. My client has a mac (and future BeoPort) in the kitchen and will have Apple TV hooked to BeoSystem 3 in the Den (as I think about it, is BeoPort even of value here, given Apple TV?). In a link room will be a BeoSound 4. Given the display characteristics
