Hello Mr. Anders(son) . Checked DD5.1, DTS and ACC + PCM2 44,1 but couldn't find PCM2 44 in my list and un-checked the rest . still no 5.1 . PCM2 44.1 is checked but greyed out so couldn't change it anyway . As that set-up didn't solve the problem I went in again and selected auto and the settings reverted back to as they were . Sound settings in the Sony are - Connector type = Hdmi - Output format = Dolby Dig. 5.1 ch. & DTS 5.1 ch. , then a load of Linear Pcm. settings , haven't got a clue what these are but probably half of the possible list is ticked . Hope someone has an answer to this as your not the only one to have this complaint ( same complaint with a Beo4 ) , be nice to go into full rapid with one press ( two at the most ) . I press go to resume normal playback but it takes quite a few seconds to react and usually goes past the point you wanted and have to re-wind a bit . Richard

My Bv7-40 Mk111 isn't picking up that the Hdmi input from the Ps3 is 5.1 , the rear speakers aren't coming in . Not familiar with the menus' on this Sony yet but I have seen it state on the screen that the disc is 5.1 somewhere , the Tv input AV2 is set to Hdmi . No problem with the Dvd in the Tv , it picks up that a disc is 5.1 and all

Just spoken to the B&o engineer and he also said the Ps3 might switch of the other sockets if the Hdmi is in use . Looks like the only way is to have a set of mirrors to get a picture into a link room , bit like the Egyptians did to get light into the Pyramids . Richard

I'm having Sky HD installed tomorrow , the B&o man said I will need the Scart connecting as well as the Hdmi so as to get Sky on the Link Tv . Is this a way to get the Ps3 on the Link Tv by connecting the AV Multi Out on the Ps3 to the Bv7 scart , but still have the Hdmi cable also to the 7 for HD ? Richard

Sorry I jumped the gun here . set-up is Bv7-40 main room + Ps3 via Hdmi , Bv6-22 in link room . They put the Bv7 Tv in last Friday and I asked if all functions on the new set ( Sky , Dvd ect. ) were available on the Bv6 , he said yes but I didn't try the Sony and it is not there . But having the Tv flashed on Thursday to put Ps3 in the box list

I get Ps3 in my link room , don't know if I can control it yet in the link room till I configure the Beo5 with the Nyko . Would prefer to use the Beo4 in there , my dealer is coming on Friday to flash my Bv7-40 so I can . Richard

I think your right , looks like a link to a recorder that shouldn't be there unless you have one , I have Sky HD so can record using that so I won't be adding a Hdr . Richard
