Should be no problem as this model ist listed in the setup menu (current sw version 5.02a) Karsten

Quick update: I went to a dealer with a Beoliving setup today, a BV4 Full HD, Samsung SP-A 800B Full HD projector. PS3 with 24p output. So the BV4 gets a 1080p 24p signal, but the projector a 720p 60Hz signal....not sure if this is in line with B&Os promiss for the best image quality What a mess! Karsten

just connected my mac book again to the Beosystem 3. Hmmm....the BS3 does some odd things. I connected the mac directly to the Display (HD Ready BV4 50) with a much better result! Just a few pixel overscan, the mac identified the display and suggested the right resolution (1366x768). No idea why this does not work with the BS3. Sorry to say this, but

To resolve this issue, unmark the "Overscan" box in the picture settings of the mac. So the black bars around the image should gone. But than you run into the other issue with the overscan, so

As always, the devil sits in the detail....my Beosystem 3 drives me nuts... Even with the current SW 5.02a the image from a Panasonic Blu-Ray Player will not output at 24p to my projector. The player sends a 24p signal to the Beosystem 3 (customer service menu -> signal information -> 24p) but the Beosystem outputs only 1080p 60Hz to the projector

When we were in Struer with the group we had the opportunity to visit one of the Video testing rooms. we were shown to Bv4-65, one HD-ready, the other full HD, both with a BS3. As far as I remember, my viewing distance was around 4 meter. To sum this whole demnstration up: Yes you can see a noticable difference, but only with testcharts.... With Full

From my point of view with no doubt the Beolab 5! My best investment in B&O ever....all the others have a lot positive but some real drawbacks as well (except the Beolab 3 and 9) Karsten
