>>I think the iPad will stream and more. The app just hasn't been written yet. This is a good idea for some aspiring developer to do.<< Apple restricts what a developer can do through the SDK (software development kit). It did not open up broadly for the Ipad, so non apple apps for video or audio playing or streaming is not really in

The IPAD doesn't stream, the ATV can be connected direct to a stereo so no drop outs. I am guessing the remote that we have on ITouch and IPhone will be used on the IPAD as well. They probably do a better version down the line to make use of the larger screen. Just realize that it doesn't multi task so no quick and easy changing of CDs without

>>And finally... isn't this a B&O forum??<< It is, but some of us are still looking for ways to play digital content on our Beolabs and Beovisions and Apple is the next thing next to B&O for that. For sure it is fun to use and I would prefer it at home when on the couch over a notebook. I am just really disappointed that they

The missing flash is not just pointed out by PC guys. It's not just the flash, it is the inability to run any kind of plug ins. And to say that mayor websites remove flash, show me that trend. Flash is a mayor tool when it comes to running on line adds. That is why application like "click to flash" pop up because it can get really annoying

>>Will stream content from storage devices over WiFi. It's the perfect tool for managing storage, retrieval, playback and transfer of all kinds of media content - while handily available.<< Where does it say that? Or do you mean through Mac Mini in the back and that Remote App?

>>Gotcha !<< Yes, it is obviously overcoming some shortages of the Ipod Touch. I just won't buy it day one but wait until they release a 128gb or more. Just note though that the Ipod application is probably weakest. Why can I download from Itunes store but can't grab anything from my own library? Just one example. Why does that great

I have an Apple TV today so I can use Remote. I can deal with the slight delay even though an always on would be nicer. I am willing to manage my videos on my portable device, but I don't want to have to decide what music I carry with me. Neither do I want to manage multiple library. I don't care if I have to pay 699 or 999 to be frank. I want

>>h, come on. Be fair<< Note that I have Ipod Nano for gym, Ipod Touch for Travel, Macbook Air for Work, IMac fro Home. No Windows here. What I need is a decent way to get my music onto my Beolabs. Think a stylish Sonos. I was hoping this is it, but its just a bigger Ipod Touch. I don't need that.

It bores me. 64GB is not enough for any serious number of lossless CDs and I don't think it can stream wireless to my stereo. It was "video kills the radio star" and now Jobs takes a 2nd stab at that by pushing low quality music onto our ears.

I don't think there were any batteries in my glasses at my local movies when watching Avatar. What I noted was, some movements within the film are uncomfortable .... what a Director has to learn I guess is to avoid these. Giving the success that Avatar has for an "average" story I think they might be onto something with 3D ....
