Hi, and welcome to beoworld. Obviously the Beogram 8500 is the one designed to match the Beocentrer 8500. As long as you use the PHONO connection there is a built in preamp (RIAA). There are other Beograms you could us, but avoid Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500 and 7000 as these have RIAAs fitted as standard. This will cause sound issues as you will in effect

Having some problems with a MK4 BL1000. All of a sudden the volume will just go up on ity's own. It's not when I have used it and the button is sticking. It just happens. All I can do to stop it is remove the batteries. Sometimes it can take 5 mins for it to happen. other times it can be hours. It has had a new rubber keypad fitted, but I can't

Whenever I have refoamed speakers I have always used the same method. So far I have never had any problems. Probably done around 10 - 12 pairs now.Mostly CX's. My method is as follows. Glue the new surround to the cone, and let the glue set for at least 24 hours. Then I connect a 1.5 volt battery to the driver so that it pulls the coil in. Then
