Hi Evan, Oh wow that's interesting about the A8s yes I had mine for a few years and enjoyed their clear sound. I did keep breaking the jacket plug though so I got through a few A8s! Unfortunately my A8s got stolen from the gym that I was training at last year by a little horror! Interesting about the Denons! I have a love hate relationship with

Hi Evan, Yes it's a fascinating market that i'm sure Tue will love to tap into. A few years ago the thought of young people spending nearly £300 on a pair of headphones was unthinkable but now... Beats is very interesting. Very clever marketing, clever use of FaceBook. Im a huge fan of the Solo HDs for their woooompth of bass along with

Amusing Burantek! The BS8 is obviously a lot cheaper in your Country. At £900 in the UK that is one heck of a lot of money. Maybe years ago I would have thrown that kind of money around, in today's economy i'm a lot more careful! I also know that the B&W Zepplin at £400 is very very good and my head is still weighing up the £900

That is a very bizarre advert! An ugly huge gas guzzling car with Beats sound system that's so weird BEATS are bought by young street people. I certainly couldn't see them in Europe driving one of those! Thank you Linder for your comments. I think the Form @ would look nice in white - like my white SOLO HDs and iBeats :) Maybe the B&O logo

I am little worried though, as they don't look as though they sound very good? Has anybody bought these Forms over the years?
-
I like the big B&O logo on these, I really get the impression that these are being marketed towards the BEATS headphones market. It's amazing how the young (18+) are buying these for their iPhones etc at £170 upwards. There's a market - I've lost count the amount of times that i've seen 'dudes' with the BEATS Studios

MMm interesting but Smart is a total flop and MINI is an easy one - it's an icon from 1959 so its not really new in that respect but yeah, BMW have done a great job. I still do not see the idea in the AV/hi-fi world. Panasonic tried in the 70's with National and of course the wonderful Technics etc. Surely if B&O wanted people to know the

Thank you for that Stuart - very cool!

Hi Wattso, Hmmm sub branding or marketing gone totally wrong? I've seen it so many times and its hardly inspiring. I still can't see why any other name other than Bang & Olufsen can get then noticed. Ar well, at least it won't be BangSung - now maybe in 2007!!! Outside of the marketing world do sub brands work? or do they just confuse
-
It's ok Wattso the silly boys are playing and being very childish :) The name is Bang and Olufsen!!! A sub brand is when a company is looking to branch out into other fields or specialise in certain areas just like B&O is trying to do to make their name a bit cooler, funky, less stiff for us young, fun living dudes! I like your attitude Wattso
