i will admit to the 2500 cubes but not the 5000s! I will not see them for at least another two weeks as I am in France. I am wondering can I meter them to see what is working? I do not (yet) have a system to plug them into. Eddie

The only way to resolve this is to throw it out! Then very soon after you will not only find what its for but that its irreplaceable !!!
Would it be worth putting a filter onto your phone connection to see if something on the broadband side has changed and is affecting the (filterless) phone?
Hi, all ways worth a try but the filter is only used to stop you hearing the (high freqency) broadband noise. I got a nice bm1200 and would like to get a small pair of speakers for it. Beocentral has the bv1200 and bv1600 as the matching speakers of that time. Has anybody got any opinions on these speakers or any suggestions of other small beovox speakers that would be suitable?

I got a nice beomaster 1200 on ebay so I am now looking for suitable speakers for it. On beocentral beovox 1200 and beovox 1600 are the period speakers to go with it. I am interested in any opinions on these speakers or indeed any other speakers that work well with the bm 1200. Valve1

Hi Gregory, I can not put all the dealers in France the same boat but B&O in Denmark seem to have the problem getting a reply from their main man in France who looks after all the dealers. I in turn could get no response from my local dealer in France. On the other hand I have have a 100% good experience with B&O in Dublin including their installation

Thanks for your past(ing) Graham ! I overdid the story line and was to tired to redo it. Your point about a pull out test is valid, but no one from B&O wanted to look. If you tap the same plaster you would know it was not attached to the wall. This is why I persisted through head office. M6 coach bolts ? you must live in a very old house! Eddie
