Naar mijn mening zijn LCD schermen de laatste jaren sterk verbeterd. Ik ben geen expert op het gebied van LCD schermen en contrastwaarden, maar voor zover ik weet worden contrastwaarden tijdens de meting in de fabriek vaak kunstmatig vergroot door lichte kleuren lichter te maken, in plaats van donkere kleuren kleuren donkerder. Een dergelijk beeld is
