• Re: My new BL 7-4 Dark grey don´t match with my BV 7 Dark Grey???

Dave: Hate to say this, by my opinion is that the 7.4 is aesthetically a mistake, the horizontal speaker looks SO much better. The 7.4 looks like a boring hi-fi-shop speaker. I disagree and the consensus from other people who've seen the 7.2 compared to the 7.4 is that they much prefer the look of the 7.4. Also, the 7.4 performs very well when you

  • Re: Wall mounted BV7-40. Anyone got one?

The Beonic Man: I'll stick with B&O whatever I choose. Even though I know many other manufacturers offers better sets. Its the design concept I buy into. Its all going to come down to pricing but I'll see. Will keep you posted. Yep, the 'problem' with the BS3+BV4 combo is that it needs a centre speaker, stereo speakers and a DVD

  • Re: Beovision 7 40 Full HD +100 Hz +blue ray

355f: The only individusal who would be seriously pissed if that was to happen would be the purchasers because samsung cant make adecent large screen anyway As we've discussed, the BV7-40 MKIII is stunning in HD. 'ok' with SD, but not SD-based football. However, add the extra 6 inches and any SD broadcast would be even more poor and pixelated

  • Re: Wall mounted BV7-40. Anyone got one?

The Beonic Man: Hi Chris, Well I am seriously considering it yes. Besides, I thought LCDs were quite light anyway? I am sure my walls won't have a problem holding it, they are thick masonary and would hold anything. I might get a BV4 instead which is a flatter fit and ofcourse plasma. Playing around with ideas at the moment. How is yours set up

The Beonic Man: We don't seem to be having much luck do we Chris? !! Simon. It's people and dealers speculating Simon. A friend mentioned the other day that I first mentioned the upgraded BV7-40 back in early 2007 (March?), so we were talking about this for 8 or 9 months before it was finally launched. They can't then go and upgrade the

  • Re: Wall mounted BV7-40. Anyone got one?

The Beonic Man: Many thanks for the pictures and for your comments. Hi Simon, do you really want to wall mount the BV7-40? It's really heavy. I'd spend my time worrying the wall and/or mount wouldn't hold.

  • Re: beolab 3: base stand or table stand?

afcintra: I would like to hear from your experience: your Beolabs 3 are standing on the rubber base stand or the aluminium table stand? Is the choice relevant for sound quality? My BL3's have been on rubber rings for a year. I've just this day move them to floor stands. The difference is very noticeable. Sound seems to have more range and dynamism

  • Re: Beovision 7 40 Full HD +100 Hz +blue ray

wallace: I learned from this forum, that the beovision 7 is going to 100 Hz. In the forum of the official B&O page is written about a possible release of this tv by march 08. Could it be truth or is it just a rumour? Hmm. Put it this way, as a customer who received his BV7-40 MKIII on the 31st of December 2007 - only two months after it was announced

  • Re: paging 355f

355f: We all see images differently and it could well be, bearing in mind your previous comments that you just prefer LCD and thats fine. We can't complain. A top quality HD image is going to look darned good on a BV7-40 MKIII, BV9 or BV4-50, I guess.

  • Re: paging 355f

355f: The BV4 50 and the BV9 are of course an identical product in performance terms. It's weird 335F. I agree with most of what you say about plasma, but if I take a look at, say, Casino Royale on Blu-ray on my BV7-40 MKIII compared to the BV4-50, the BV4-50 looks like it has more noise reduction. It looks more like how the Blu-ray DVD would appear
