A bit of a toughie to answer as I've had a few cartridges with failed suspension all with different symptoms ranging from an inability to track correctly, horrible sound reproduction in one or both channels and off centre cantilver - excepting the last - all of which are difficult to pin down to the actual cartridge. I've even owned a MMC3 which

Bump! There must be someone out there can help Peter. Chris.

No real reason that I know of - I think Peter has posed this question but I don't know what the reply was - if any. I suspect it is all down to set up/tooling costs for something that will sell in relatively small numbers. We should remember that vinyl was the main music media when B&O manufactured these, hence they would sell far more than

Molotow: But is the glass for a BeoMaster 3500 the same... Yes it is identical. Chris.
-
Oh dear - not good news I'm afraid There are a growing number of members looking for these but they are now unavailable from B&O and no one seems to able to supply them at present. The only advice I can give is to try find a used non-working beomaster 4500 or 3500 to salvage the panel from. Sorry. Chris.

Hi Tom, thanks for remembering me - I hope it was for the right reasons Almost correct in the interpretation of my user name and a very good guess for someone who doesn't come form my kneck of the woods. I was born and raised in the county of Yorkshire where our dialect is a fairly lazy but unforgettable one. Whereas most people would say "My
