John, If you can get into the Beomaster and handle a normal electronic size soldering iron, you can easily do the kit. Replacing the dial pointer lamp the above way is not very hard. Martin

Nice one indeed ! Try connecting a pair of large speakers, you'll be surprised to hear what it can do ! BTW: Both the Beomaster 2000 and 3400 were available in white/aluminum, just not seen everyday. This BM2000 looks nice, also one of my favourites. The BM2000/3400 lamp kit contains correct wattage lamps plus a couple of corrections to make for

- And you did it right after plugging into mains power (within the first few seconds) ? Martin

I am not sure it will work if you are using the remote. Martin

You can also connect a signal generator to the tape input and an osicilloscope to probe the signal path and check where the signal gets distorted but it may not be one single component, rather a combination

Welcome to Beoworld ! The stereo lamp could be burned so don't trust that too much. Check that you have your speakers connected to a left and a right socket respectively and check that the mono button is not pressed. One of the volume sliders will control the left speaker, the other the right one. Beovox 1001 are rare speakers and actually very

Did you check the voltage at the regulator output ? Martin

The fuse, I am referring to, is on the large board near the cooling fin that also holds the amplifiers etc. The board coordinates are B2, again referring to the printed "squares" on the board. Martin
