martin01: Hi, I have the same problem with my BV/-40 mark III with my Panasonic blu-ray player. I have these disturbances both with bluray-discs and DVD-discs. I have asked B&O about this problem and they deny that there are any problems with the BV7. They say that it depends on what microprocessor there is in the bluray-player. Does anybody know

chrisped: Is there any news on Beosystem 3 supporting 24p with the latest updates? I think we are on version 4+ for the BeoSystem SW - right? I think someone (Soundproof) stated that, sadly, the latest BS3 sw 4.0 doesn't support 24fps. I think there's already a 4.01 update, although all this does is add a sharpness option to the customer menu

JoC: Thanks for the heads up... I was hoping to get a PS3 in the coming weeks/month (in time for GTA and MetalGear), so what exactly was/is the problem and what does SW 4.0a fix, and what is this PIM module thingy. My problem doesn't affect games, it's only the playback of DVDs.

The Stig - ver. 1.5: Your TV needs a SW update to 4.0a and a new PIM moduel, your dealer can see what to do in the issuse solved with SW 4,0. Thanks. Due to speak to my dealer on Monday, so I'll see if they can perform this update for me. Not sure what a PIM module is though?

Afternoon, I have a problem with my new BV7-40 MKIII with the Playstation 3 connected, which has left both myself and my dealer out of ideas. Connected the PS3 through HDMI. Games are fine, but any DVD playback (Blu-ray or SD DVD) results in an infrequent white flash at the bottom left hand side of the TV screen, in the bottom black bar. No consistency

Out of ideas? Gulp. I was in London today and visited the Selfridges B&O store and, the first thing that struck me, was that the majority (if not all?) of the products are the same as they appeared when I last visited that store....this time last year! Nothing had changed, product wise. I guess that article is saying that the move to paper-thin

sparks1: is there any way to adjust volume for just hd channels, and how do i find out sw info.buy the way it 32"bv7 Sadly, no. HD channels are simply quieter than the others. It's always been like that, in the same way the adverts are two or three levels louder. You need to go in to the service menu to find this info. You might be better off

sparks1: First post, so here goes..I have a few issues i with my tv,it is connected to sky hd and when watching sky sports news the info bar at the bottom becomes blured intermitently. The other problem i have is when i switch to a hd channel the volume drops, sound is connected digitly. Many thanks for any ideas. Beolab, The Bath B&O have the same setup as you and it's the same on their system! The speaker is way darker than the gunmetal BV7-40. Apparently this is how it's supposed to be with the 7.4, due to the design of the speaker. ie the holes in the grille make it appear darker. Indeed, it almost looks black compared to the dark grey TV.

Trucker: Hi!, Is`nt there anybody who have experiences in playing HD-disk or Blue Ray disc, through BV 7III? Do you mean the BV7-32 MKIII or the new BV7-40 MKIII (which is BS3 based)? I'm assuming there's a big difference between the two. Never used Blu-ray on my old BV7-32, but I use a PS3 to watch Blu-ray on my BV7-40 MKIII and it's fine
