What you are hearing are the normal limitations of a mono loudspeaker in a unit that is intended for background listening. Increasing the bitrate won't improve things. To my ears, the BeoSound 3 has a good sound, for those occasions where I want to have something playing in the background. I use it for audio books, for which it is absolutely perfect

@355f Interesting input. Yes, the market is moving in different ways. In the "west" we are still hankering to the convenience of having our music in our pockets, but awareness IS growing of what one is missing out on. The first one, with the jazz musician, was made by two young filmmakers as a commercial demonstrating their talent. It was made without any participation from B&O, on their own initiative, and it was shown during the Commercials Festival in Cannes a few years ago, during the Young Directors' Showcase. The second commercial belongs to a series

Christian: soundproof: Am I wrong in remembering that 60% of the shares in B&O are still in the hands of the descendants of the founders? And that only 40% are on the exchange? It is a little more complicated. I DK we typically have two classes of shares A and B. A-shares has 10 times more voting power than B-shares. The descendants control the
