No, this is not normal, in fact mine has been running for several years and the only change I ever make to the time is every six months when we change the clocks by one hour. It sounds as if you have a fault on the board. A replacement module for a UK unit is part number 8000804

Spare parts are still available including the main printed circuit board and the front panel which can be replaced without problems. Not sure which country you are in, your IP address shows you in Hamburg in Germany, but your Danish version may not work in some other countries because of the different line signals.

Lets be clear about what you are saying here. You have an existing Beocom 6000 phone and base, which version is it ? Meaning is there a black DOT at the 9 o'clock on the dial or does it have the letters INT ? You have purchased another Beocom 6000 with base as well. Is it the same version as the one you already own ?

I have looked at all the Pace STB's and they are basically the same in terms of commands used as below. You do not say, but I am assuming that the Pace box is reacting to say number keys, if not, are you sure you have the IR blaster correctly positioned ?
