Well, once we adjusted the contrast so that it didn't appear that we were watching some bizarre animated cartoon, the PQ was excellent, especially on close up shots with relatively small movement. The main room will be connected into the back of MCL2AV box via MCL and RF cable. Link room audio and video items will plug into the front of the box where they will take advantage of the facilities in the main room system. From our initial look last evening the PQ using the inbuilt DVB-T was excellent. I'll reserve proper judgement until we watch it tonight when Spurs will undoubtably lose. Watch this space for a report tomorrow but £660 with 3 year warranty does seem incredibly good value!

IR cable 15m white with din plug prewired is part number 6270668 Apparently excess cable should not be cut off. Use the full length and wind excess up. Don't understand why, may be impedance related?

You can't!!!! And if you don't know how to take the back off the chances are you will break something. That's why I recommend that you live with it or get a professional to sort it.

Agree with Dillen. Try connecting your speakers to the Spk2 sockets. These sockets bypass the mute relay.

Thanks for that Jon, I am sure it will be worth it. Member Dillen (Martin) is a particular expert in crossovers if you get in trouble. I know he would be happy to help. I look forward to the post that says "all working fine".
