  • Re: Grounding/Earthing a Beogram 3000

Firstly welcome to Beoworld. Now to answer your quetion, all you need to do is run a wire from the chassis of the Beogram to the chassis of the Amp. There may be an earth connector on the rear of the Amp for this. Craig

  • Re: Dealing with an 80's in-wall speaker system/beocenter 7700

Hi, firstly welcome to Beoworld. You can as you say move the Beocenter to another room and connect the pair of Beovox s45's you have. All you will need are some standard DIN speaker connectors. You should be able to pick these up at somwhere like Radio Shack(are these still going in the U.S.?) or similar. Could you not extend the current wiring

  • Re: HDR1 - Schematic Diagram?

Peter : The modern service manuals don't have decent schematics in as they are repaired using module replacement. Rather disappointing! Thats progress for you. Craig

  • Re: Connecting B&O equipment

Peter : That would seem to be a well matching selection. The 4000 is a most interesting device as it is the only double cassette B&O marketed. Extremely pleasing design and matches the 3500 well. A friend of mine had one with a CDX and Redline speakers. Sounded really quite impressive though a little bass heavy for my liking due to the built in

  • Re: Retro B and O

ben12345: I have a good MMC20S cartridge that you can have for the cost of a couple of drinks if you're interested. I believe that this was the cartridge originally supplied with the Beogram 1500. Cheers, Ben. Yes, the MMC20S was the original cartridge for the Beogram 1500. Nice turntable I used to have one. Also had a Beocenter 4600 which used
