  • Re: Gebruikerstest voor new generation B&O design

  • Re: Beolab 6000 with Beolab 2 ???

Personally I'm not that impressed with the Beolab 2. I'm sure it's great in a surround setup watching a spectacular film, but for listening to music it's too much boom for my taste. The Beolab 6000's aren't bad but I would trade them in and get a pair of Beolab 3's. Amazing sound from a very small speaker.

  • Re: The last film you watched and said "I really enjoyed that"

DorsetArms: Well, if you have a Dolby Digital setup, try The Transporter. It is just another action movie, but the sound-engineers created the best surround track I have ever heared. Just wind up to 43 minutes in the movie, there is an attack on the house of the movies star. It is mindblowing. Bullets and rockets coming from behind. Mind you, my setup

  • Re: which speakers. beosystem 6500

soundproof: The CX-100s are second-room speakers. The amplifier on a 6500 is of such good quality and so powerful that just using the CX-speakers is a real waste of an opportunity to enjoy real music. Anyone today who tried to build an amp to the quality of that in the Beomaster would charge you well over $10.000 for the final product. The speakers

  • Re: BeoLab3 vs BeoLab 4000

Both are good speakers in my opinion. The Beolab 4000's are very good value and sound a bit smoother than the Beolab 3's. But the Beolab 3's have a more detailed sound and of course the benefit of a smaller size and the acoustic lens. My personal preference would be the Beolab 3.

S120's are an excellent choice. If you want a small speaker you could also try the CX100's. My parents use these with their Beosystem 5500 and are very happy with them.

  • Re: Beosystem 5500
