According to the service manual AV RADIO opens the Aux Link socket to receive audio.

I have a similar model Avant and have not got to the bottom of the scart sockets yet! Peter says you have to assign the sockets but this is not possible if they don't appear on the menu! Unfortunately the manuals are not much help, at least not to me. I have not had much time to get down and dirty with it so far but I will get to the bottom of it

darren: Yes they are stainless and very easy/cheap to make. Its just the etching that is the problem. The originals are not etched. They are transfers!

Medogsfat: joeyboygolf: I used to work for Philips (the tube manufacturer) and in their Manchester warehouse they had thousands of new TV tubes all standing on their faces! They'll be ones fitted in the early Avants then Graham Smart****!

Craig: Well I have always transported most TV's face down and on a good duvet. Never had any problems with tubes packing up after. Done it a few times with my BV3-32 and a host of other older model B&O TV's. Craig And Brett and I have transported quite a few 32in Avants on their faces with no problems (they won't stand up in my Discovery
