  • Re: Embedded Windows XP in Beosound 5????

I might be out of my depth here, but isn't Beoport Windows based? That seems to work fine. Andy T.

  • Re: beo4 virgin +

Hi Sreve. I have no experience with the V+ box, but with my Sky+ box many of the functions need to be preceded with 'Go'. For example, to record, you press 'Go' 'Red'. rapidly. Andy T.

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen Avant 32 Repair

Absolutely nothing? No sound? No stand movement? No LED? Could it be something as simple as a fuse? Andy T.

  • Re: BeoLab 5 speakers in concert

Thanks for this Dave. Very interesting indeed. I especially like the phrase that Smith used quote "Never before has there been an instrument like a BeoLab 5 loudspeaker." Fits nicely with the phrase I have heard you say describing your work with "loudspeaker music" Andy T.

  • Re: 8,000 Members and rising..

It's an illusion true, but we carry it off quite well. Sometimes I even manage to fool myself into thinking I actually like Puncher! Fortunately the Holsten Pils has usually worn off by the morning. Seriously though, I'm proud to be part of this 'family'. Roll on 10,000. Well dome Lee and all the mods, well done Beoworld, well done all

  • Re: Are you 100% happy with your B&O setup?

Stars: I didn't know you had Beo5, Andy. How are you getting on with it? I think Peter and I were the very first Beoworlders to get one! I must admit that I am ashamed to say that mine is a bit like Peter's, a pretty ornament.

  • Re: BeoVox 1 in sauna ?

Shrink-wrapping a Beolink 1000, on the surface seems to be a good idea. However, I would be a little bit concerned that the buttons recoil might be restricted. After all, the only springiness that rerturns the buttons to out, is by a little dome foil bubble. You may find that pressing 'RADIO' for example, that the radio button remains pressed

  • Re: Trumpet

Hi Peter. Tom (Smito) from Luxembourg is the man. He played trumpet before he started the tuba and appears to be an accomplished musician. Indeed he plays in a national, prize-winning orchestra. His new wife Sabrina is also a musician. Unfortunately, he is on holiday in Vienna this week, not sure when he's back. I would agree with Darren, you seem

  • Re: BeoCom 6000 ?base reset? Only 1 handset and is not registered. UNKNOWN PIN!

Hi there, and Welcome to Beoworld. Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I think the holes you describe is to connect to a jig at your dealers for the updating of software. Try removing your handset from the base, and any other latent handsets then re-registering them. Andy T.
