You can purchase this kit from any B&O dealer, however most dealers do not appear to be aware of these kits. Where are you located ?

Lars, Well just 5 minutes ago I answered someone else with RF issues with their Beocom 6000 and based on your overview I think you have the same problem which I have to say is quite common. Have a look at my response HERE and come back to me if you think it is not your problem.

Based on your answers, I would say that you have an RF chip failure after a period of it being intermittent. The failure of the RF chip in the Mark I handsets is quite common and the chips are no longer available. Lars, There is really only two major differences between the Mark I and Mark II Beocentre 6-23 The LCD screen is different where the contrast ratio on the Mark I was 800:1, with the new screen it is now 1200:1 The Mark I was NOT HD ready, you could purchase a kit to make it HD ready, but I would be surprised if many people purchased the upgrade. Lars, The Beocentre 6-23 on the other hand is into its second generation meaning the current units are Mark II. I have one in my gym with Dab which works well for that envirnoment. If you intend to purchase a Beocentre 6-23 I would go for the newer version.

I would be surprised if the IR is at fault and even if a Service Manual existed which I think is most unlikely, it would not help you, because any faulty part would require the small round board to be replaced.
