  • Re: Beolab 1 or Beolab 3?

For their size, BeoLab 1s really can be quite disappointing when it comes to low frequency. HUGE great big speakers which you expect to absolutely belt out music.... and, no, they don't. Mids are nice and the highs are detailed although they usually sound very unnatural. The low end is detailed, but there isn't that much of it when you consider the

The RDS module can also be fitted to either later BeoMaster 6500s, or all 6500s...

  • Re: iPod Nano Spy Pics

None of the Nanos had HDs, they have always been flash based.

I think they'll look great real life, as they're gonna be really, really tiny. That's a 320x340 screen, so it can't be much larger than the previous Nano's screen.

  • Re: Which BeoLab 9 design do you prefer?

These were posted before the first BeoLab 9 images were readily available. I do kinda like the designs, but I don't think they're anywhere near as 'discreet' as the BeoLab 9s (which is why I like them). Still great designs though...

  • Re: What BeoLab 3500 Replacement will look like?

The BeoLab 1 hasn't been for sale for quite a while now by the way, production stopped quite a while before the BeoLab 9s came into the range. I personally think the 3500 is a kind of hidden gem in the B&O range. It's great high up near a ceiling, sounds great and looks fantastic. I'd be disappointed if it disappeared from the range, unless they could

  • Re: Official DVD2 pictures on Mediacenter

There are other fantastic products in the range, such as the BeoSound 4, 9000, BeoVision 7 and BeoCenter 6. The BeoVision 8 is also fantastic, but doesn't have the true class a B&O product normally does, and still isn't exactly 'cheap'. It's still a fantastic TV though. Although I agree, some things are massively overpriced or in need of an update

No, this isn't the case, shift + A.Tape actually produces a different resultant signal to a simple A.Tape command. Press shift, with your hand completely covering the IR transmitter at the end of the BeoLink, and press shift, then uncover your hand and press A.Tape. A.Tape 2 is still activated, even though the BeoMaster/Center didn't receive the SHIFT

  • Re: Beolab 5000's vs. 4500's

I actually think the panel speakers are something B&O could easily do a limited re-production run of. Other 'best of' products, such as the BeoSystem 7000, AV9000, BeoCenter 9000, and Penta are often talked about as being some of the best bits of B&O to come across, but never the panel speakers. It's almost like they've been 'forgotten'. Indeed, I've
