tom: I use those eyeglass cleaners you can get in any supermarket to clean mine. They remove fingerprints very well... I want to know what you use on your tuba Tom? - now THAT'S properly shiney Chris.

Frankly I wouldn't even think about trying to buy a used or even "new old stock" B&O original cartridge as they are now so old that suspension decay is a more than likely problem and you will have no guarantee of the condition or longevity. A far better bet would be a brand new soundsmith mmc20E or even better mmc20EN item which come

Yes the Beo4 will work with equipment in any country regardless of origin. Chris.

Hi Dave, the kits I have used are fine. It isn't perfectly straightforward as the centering is critical otherwise the coils will rub and sound horrible and eventually wear out. If you decide to go down the refoaming route then drop me a PM and I'll advise you if needs be. Jandyt did an excellent step by step thread in the workbench section here
