The powerlink cables I have only have 8 pins, and the speakers only have an 8 pin capacity. -? I managed to get the manual off the officail B&O website. And thank you all for the compliments.

Yes I have the labs, type 6703, USA. I will get a picture on here asap. And yes I managed to get the brackets.

Bieele, There are two sets of bare wires hope that helps. Peter, I am pretty sure they are beolab. And how do I know if I have mark 2 powerlink speakers?
-
Well that's good because I lost the auction anyway, and it sounds like someone overpaid .

So I have just gotten myself a pair of BL5000 panels and was wondering if anyone could advise me the proper way of connecting them. I will be using powerlink cables. I will be using them with my Beomaster 4500. On the back of them are cords that are bare wires, which leads me to my curiosity of how the amplifiers are powered. All help is greatly appreciated

Well I have a beo4 and that does a more than adequate job, but again, such a great deal has presented itself. The beo4 actually only cost me $160 new so I went with that, as I didnt have a remote when I acquired my B&O pieces.
-
So beowild, where did you get your 4500 panels? Because I could sure use them. And did you end up repainting your glass panels? If so, with what? Because I have a few blemishes I would certainly like to fix. Thanks -E

I would either start with a dealer or the free tech support line Beocare, they might be able to help. Good luck.
-
Well I think that would apply itself to the big ticket items such as tvs and audio equipment, not so much with replacement parts, batteries in this case.
-
That had actually crossed my mind, and I think you may have just sealed the deal! I'll keep you all posted.
