Well the title of the thread says it all really. It powers up but there is no sound. Connected an FM aeriel and from the tuning lights it seems to be picking up stations ok. When you try to adjust the volume the light on the right side gets slowly brighter, but then it suddenly goes back again. If that makes sense? Craig

How do I get the cover off that covers the two arms? Or can I clean all the parts with this in place? Craig

Need some advice with a Beogram 4004 I have just purchased. When I plugged it in I could hear the motor running but the platter would not turn. Just found the that the belt had come off, so an easy fix. Fitted it with an MMC10 stylus just to try it out. When I press play the arm moves to the start of the record but fails to lower. majand: In the Avant manual there is a device connected to Avant, which looks like MPAV, but might be some other device. Is there a better option? What you can see is the manual is probably a Beosound Ouverture. This is what the MPAV9000 is based on. BEOSOUND OUVERTURE Craig

You could also consider adding a Beovox Cona subwoofer to any passive speakers you use. Craig
