I'll see if Tim wants these - the early 1000 might be a draw and he will no doubt get them working!

To all those with Mac systems and iTunes, you will know how useful the third party software, BM-Link, written by Anders Odlund is. He has moved to California and therefore is without his B&O system and therefore cannot continue to update the software - in particular with regard to Snow Leopard, which doesn't work with the Beoport properly. Let's

Very well done and explained - you missed the bit where the brackets flies into the air and the dog runs off with it but that is just a detail! I'll put this somewhere useful! The major problem with these decks is that the plastic becomes brittle with age and some strong glue is needed to mend it.

I think you need a bit of hardware called IRtrans which will allow the wi-fi iTouch commands to be tranlated to IR in the correct wave length for B&O. Soundproof is the expert here!

Done mine - this was my request: It has come to my notice that the development of BM-Link, the software allowing the integration of an Apple Mac system into a Masterlink B&O set up via Beoport has been lagging. This would appear to be due to the developer, Anders Odlund, having moved to California. He has no B&O products now as these remain

Excellent idea - I suggest we all do the same - the contact page is here - maybe post here to say it is done.

You probably have a loose connection - the manual suggests that one of the balanced audio signals will have dropped out. This will cause the volume to be halved.

A common question! If you do some pictures, I'll put this thread somewhere where it can be referred to! Easier to show in pictures than decribe - essentially it is best to have three hands!

They work with variable line level - i.e. pre-amp out. There are some issues with them switching off if they receive no signal but this can be fixed as well by all accounts. You should have sourced the pads from Lee who would have been cheaper and quicker. Not sure Apple TV and the BS5 are really the same product but I can understand your frustration

A Beogram 4500, 6500 or 7000 will have a built in RIAA. They do have DIN plugs though. All the MMC1-5 range are exactly the same cartridge but with different cantilevers and styluses. If you have an old MMC5, Axel can replace the cantilever with a sapphire one and turn it into a MMC2.
