• Re: Beolab Penta display problem

Good straightforward troubleshooting there. The only test remaining would be to swap the amplifiers between speakers, but that may be a lot of unnecessary work... Unfortunately we only have Mk.I schematics on site, so I won't go too far into details as they might not apply to Mk.II - but from your tests, it seems your other speaker isn't delivering

As I understand the "push-pull" concept here, the drivers are in the same phase - i.e both move in and both out at the same time. If they are balanced around the center of the gravity of the whole unit, it doesn't move at all with the drivers. So it should at least vibrate a lot less than a single driver sub. The halves (or the tulip petals
Now I'm going off to google Wein bridge sine wave oscillators...
You will get better results with Wien bridge (as in Vienna), not Wein or Wine Good work, enjoy your Beogram! Be warned that there is no escape

  • Re: Where is the share price going?
I would hazard that these were not the exact same securities OR one of the two exchanges imposes certain fees/limits/minimums which distort the price at that particular exchange. On the other hand, if you have discovered an arbitrage opportunity of this dimension, you should have remained quiet and made a bundle
I agree with your curiosity on that bulb, I wondered what it was for as well. Perhaps one of the BG4000 experts will provide us with a good answer and shed more light on your solenoid problem as well.
It belongs to the Wien bridge sine wave oscillator that generates the driving signal to the platter AC motor

Ralf
Nope, those are DIP switches for configuration apparently (if you mean the orange thingies on the right). I really like the looks of this thing. Apparently the two drivers
As for it being a replacement for a wall ight switch, yes I can see it's designed for that purpose, but I can see no reason why it cannot be used other than in a wall and therefore as such would be almost as versatile as the LC2 and able to be installed in a variety of locations.
From the picture, it looks

  • Re: Beogram 7000 record deck

Congratulations! My advice is to keep using the MMC2 as long as it works fine. You won't win anything by "saving" it, as the suspension will age regardless if you use it or not. When it finally gives up, or you're not happy with the sound anymore, or the stylus is obviously worn, then you can consider either having it retipped or getting
