Peter: Very nice set up! Reminds me of something! I think the S120s are a fair bit better than the S80.2s! Bit more bass extension. Ronny at B&O has told me that these are probably the best passive speakers made by B&O , all things taken into account. The S120s are larger, though. My spec to Tim was that I didn't have space for the Beovox

Beovox S80.2 - on Tim Jarman's recommendation, as he felt they would be very good to get the best out of the amp. But I'm also considering dedicating my Dynaudio Focus 140s to this setup. They are more compact than the 80.2s, and have wonderful sound relative to their size.

  • Soundproof is a CopyCat!

You will remember Peter's photo of his Beogram 4000 & Beolab&Beomaster 5000 combination. When I got my Beolab 5000, I knew that one is supposed to combine it with the Thorens 3000 Bg-- but I kind of feel that having a Bg4000 with these units is great, both because it's all Jacob Jensen, but also because they really go well together.

9 LEE: Not sure if anyone noticed, but in response to one or two members being unhappy about the prominence of the "Stars" we reduced them to 70% of their original size. Yes. It was noticed, thank you. I'm extremely upset. Have almost been unable to post. Could we possibly, I ask, have a choice of star sizes???

  • Re: Beogram 4000 question - stylus force

Peter: 1. The tool provided is a small flat bladed anti-static scredriver with a little B&O emblem on the end of the handle. I can't find my spare one - I'll let you know if I do! I'll have another look in there, can't possibly be that the previous owner has adjusted the weight so many times that it's gotten worn round! I do

  • Beogram 4000 question - stylus force

Well, got my Beogram 4000 in the door half an hour ago. Put it all together and it plays, has indicator lights working and is a well taken care of unit. Very happy! (Will need to buff the lid, to get rid of some light scratching, but that's for an evening where applying elbow grease seems right), 1. Adjusting the stylus force. Don't have the
