Chrisreunion: I made exactly the same suggestion when BeoLab 7-1 was released: why not use the amps & speakers from BeoLab 7-1 and put them inside the 8000? You would finally get at least 37 Hz from these beauties, as this is what Lab 7 produces, in a 4 liter cabinet....and the present Lab 8000 has a 5.3 ltr cabinet, with normal amps: which means

Cosmetic considerations aside, as long as the tweeters are both working and the bass drivers are in good condition then the age of the 6000's is not important. There have been no major changes to 6000's since launch so I would go with a good second hand pair.

Did you realise that less than £200 will buy you a complete new set of frets? Will make your speakers really look the business!

Before you get into a lather over this you should consider just what improvement you would expect to see on a screen as small as 23 or 26 inches?

Why do people do this????? The genuine drivers are £25 each or less which is cheap in my view.

I suggest that it would be wise to search out a B&O original as the items are firmly fixed to the bracket and cannot fall off causing damage or more important injury to persons in the vacinity.

Puncher: joeyboygolf: I've noticed this too. The metal panels on 9000/9300/9500 series and the metal on BS9000 and the vertical stand. More of a vibration than anything. Can't explain it though unless it comes from the mains transformer?? My thoughts too although Daniel claims that connecting power or Masterlink (either without the other) causes
