Thats what I have found two of. As I say one has two bulbs in it the other has three. On both there is a small PCB which has the bulbs on. Nowhere can I find one with four as Martin mentions. Craig

Martin, I can find two bulbs for the volume. these are in one section that is held in by two screws. Then there is a similar section which houses threee bulbs, for the Balance, Treble & Bass. All the bulbs are solder in place. or have I missed another set of bulbs? Craig

Peter : Light Dependent Resistor? Thanks Peter. Craig

So it could be down to just a blown bulb then? both the left and right bulbs on the volume do light up. Although the one for the Trebel does not. What does LDR stand for? Craig

In that case no, as you do not have the required neutral behind your switch. Craig

Craig: Looks like this could be one long dabate. Looks as though I was right. Craig

Well I may have celebrated a bit too early. Now the arm loweres most of the time, seems to be getting better with more use. So I will see how that goes for now. My next problem is that when the arm gets to the ned of the record is does not return or lift. If I use the < button it goes to the end of it's travel and returns perefectly. tried cleaning

This is somethiong that has been covered on the Forum before. What is going to be problem is using the LC2 in place of you existing wall switch/dimmer. LC2,s need a live and neutral, the problem is most wall switches do not have a neutral. Both wires inside than back of the switch will be live. One is a feed and the other is a return to the light. Medogsfat: You'll be fine mate. It's pretty straightforward once you make a start. Chris. It was very straight forward, once I got inside it. Cleaned all the old glue grease off. Even managed to get some silicon grease from my Dad last night (Seems that it also used on some models of cars for the ignition leads). Also greased the brass worm

Cheers Chris, I will take a look later tonight, just got to pop out for an hour so. You might be getting a phone call if I get stuck. Craig
