This is a tough one. My BL 4000's really sounds alot bigger and richer - more true to life, with the loudness on and the bass and treble tweaked up a bit. They really aren't all that impressive with the bass and treble set to 0. Doesn't ABL and loudness adapt when when the volume is pumped up anyway?? My question is, should i turn on loudns

I assume Alex is talking about the built in speakers and amps needing to be run-in. FM reception is location dependent - move it around, enjoy it's portability! I'd truly love to own one, congratulations on a purchase that will grow on you until you love it more than you love your mum!

Hehe i didn't have the muscles to remove the front piece so i gave up and put it back together. Oh dear, yes because when i spoke to the dealer he said it will be fine if it's just a fix, but if it's a part that needs to be ordered in, there may be a problem. I'll be crossing my fingers. Hey, thanks for the reply, i just had a go, got the back bit off but cant get the front bit of metal off... I struggled to understand your post, what is a board swap? Sorry i'm a bit slow! Ah i'll leave it in one piece and send it in to see what can be done to repair it.

9 LEE: I often scratch my head when i see their products and think "well why didn't B&O think of that?" I like the adaptor plate to allow the BeoLab 4 to sit on a Beolab 3 Floor Stand. I just came across the STB website and saw the beosound 4 plate that allows it to be fitted either to a beocentre 2 or beosound 3200 floorstand, WOW how ingenious! What were b&o thinking when they designed the bs4 stand which didn't allow the ugly wires to pass through the pipe?! Does anyone actually know what they were thinking? lol Glad to
